Narragansett

Recognized as the home of some of the finest beaches in the Northeast,
Narragansett provides the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful or fun-filled
vacation. While traveling on scenic Ocean Rd, you will get a glimpse of a
spectacular architectural structure, the Towers of Narragansett where you
can dine on the waterfront Patio with the waves crashing below at The
Coast Guard House, Narragansett Pier. This well-known landmark evokes
scenes from Narragansett's Victorian past. The bustling Port of Galilee, the
second largest commercial fishing port in New England, guarantees the
freshest fish on the East Coast. Galilee is also the main port for the Block
Island ferries and Rhode Island's only whale watching excursion onboard the
Gail Frances. Port Judith’s lighthouse is a destination, Narrow River, and
many coastal parks with protected wetlands and nature preserves.
Narragansett is a great place to live! Very family friendly and has a great
public school system. It is a touristy town so most places are open in the

summer, but there are great restaurants and small businesses open year-
round.
