East Greenwich, Rhode Island is a coastal town in Kent County with a rich
history, many historic buildings, and outdoor recreation. Home of “Chelo’s
Waterfront and Marina, East Greenwich Yacht Club, and Brewer’s Marina on
Greenwich Cove along with many other waterfront dining options. Located
on the west shore of Narragansett. King Charles II acquired the land in 1644 incorporated as a town in 1677. Home to many early American
patriots and the birthplace of the US Navy. Main Street, a small
New England town street with shopping, dining, the theater “Greenwich
Odeum ” and Goddard Memorial State Park Beach a few miles further
southeast. As of 2020, there were 14,312 people and 5,281 households in
the town and has one of RI’s top public-school systems.
