The seventh-biggest city, Newport is a seaside town on Aquidneck Island in
Narragansett Bay. Founded in 1639, it lies approximately 33 miles southeast
of Providence, only 74 miles from Boston, and 180 miles from New York
City. Newport is Rhode Islands’ summer resort locale, famous for historic
mansions from the Gilded Age during the Industrial Revolution lining
Bellevue Avenue and the rocky bluffs of Newport which can be viewed
waterfront via the The Newport Cliff Walk.

who has been influential in the luxury car collection space and contributes to
the annual - Audrain Newport Concours and Motor Week, the Audrain Auto Museum,

The first U.S. Open tournaments in both tennis and golf were held here now
called the “Tennis Hall of Fame” located in the Newport Casino, maintaining
13 grass tennis court, which still holds tournaments today. Newport has a
rich sailing history and has the longest history of winning the “America’s

Newport. Many sailing clubs call Newport home, including the New York
Yacht Club and the Ida Lewis Yacht Club. There is always restaurants
displaying seafood fare of all types, elevated fine dining, Marina’s, boating of
all types and a Superyacht magnet. Famously known for the annually held
Newport Folk and Jazz Festival.
